Delhi: No sealing today says Monitoring Committee
New Delhi, Nov 2: There will be no sealing of commercial units in Delhi today.
A spokesperson of the Supreme Court-appointed Monitoring Committee told mediapersons yesterday that the MCD sealing drive would not be carried today.
A decision in this regard was taken by the Monitoring committee after a marathon meeting with the officers of the MCD and the Delhi Police which favoured postponement of the proposed sealing drive, as scheduled tomorrow, due to volatile law and order situation.
A fresh date to begin the sealing drive will, however, be decided today by the Monitoring Committee.
