HPCL to be allotted 1500 acres in AP
Hyderabad, Nov 1 (UNI) Hindusthan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) would be allotted 1500 acres in the Special Economic Zone(SEZ) at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.
A release from the Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's office said that HPCL would use the area for setting up their refinery, aromatic plant and naptha cracker plant. HPCL would invest Rs 30,000 crore in the project, it said.
The decision was taken at a meeting on the Visakhapatnam SEZ, Dr Reddy had with Minister for Major Industries J Geetha Reddy, Chief Secretary J Harinarayana, among others, the release added.
