Heavy rains forecast in Kerala
Pune, Nov 2 (UNI) Heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in Kerala.
Rain or thundershowers are also likely to occur at a few places in east Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, south interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep, and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, north interior Karnataka, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Bihar, Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, north Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and some parts of Telangana. They were appreciably above normal in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, north interior Karnataka and some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Haryana, Punjab and Saurashtra. They were above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, some parts of Orissa, north Gujarat and Konkan.
Northeast monsoon has been active in Kerala. Heavy rains have occurred at many places in Rayalseema and Kerala.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka and at a few places in Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Orissa, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
