HC bans traffic halting for VIPs in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Nov 2 (UNI) In a significant decision, the Rajasthan High Court has banned the halting of traffic for anybody in Rajasthan other than President, Vice-President and the Prime Minister.

Taking cognizance on suo-moto PIL, Justice Ashok Parihar made this major decision today. The court also issued show-cause notices to the state chief secretary, home secretary and director general of police in this regard and asked them to file replies within four weeks.
