EU delegation on J

Srinagar, Nov 2 (UNI) A European Union (EU) delegation arrived here to see various ongoing development projects in Jammu and Kashmir.

During its two-day visit, the delegation, led by UK's Charles Tammock, would also see the progress on the ongoing Jammu-Srinagar railway projects.

The delegation, comprising members from the UK, Germany, Italy, Lithuania and Latvia, called on General Officer-in-Commanding (GOC) of XV Corps Lt Gen Amarjeet Singh Sekhon here last evening.

The Corps Commander apprised the visiting dignitaries of various development projects undertaken by the Army under Operation Sadhbhavna to ameliorate the hardships faced by people, especially those living in remote areas.
