Dolphin Offshore Q2 net up 20 pc
New Delhi, Nov 2: Dolphin Offshore Enterprises (India) Ltd, integrated services provider to the Offshore Oil and Gas industry, has clocked a 20.26 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 2.62 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006.
The company's total revenues also rose by 46.59 per cent at Rs 25.37 crore for the Q2 FY07, as against Rs 17.31 crore during Q2 FY06.
''The results demonstrate the strong business momentum and multi-faceted growth opportunities that Dolphin Offshore has focused on,'' company's Chairman and Managing Director Kirpal Singh said.
Dolphin Offshore was awarded a contract worth Rs 147 crore from the domestic Oil and Gas giant ONGC during the quarter.
In addition, it had signed an MoU with IMPaC Offshore Engineering GmBH to set up a joint venture to provide design and engineering services to Oil and Gas, Ship repair, Ship building and Petrochemicals industries.
