CAT opens website

Kochi, Nov 2 (UNI) The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), set up for the adjudication of disputes with regard to recruitment and service conditions of persons appointed to public services and posts, opened a website.

The website gives an introduction to the Administrative Tribunal's Act, Rules and Orders, different types of forms being used for filing cases and details of benches.

An important feature of the site was the daily cause lists of cases, which enables advocates and litigants to get to know the day- to-day posting of cases before the bench.

The website also has the provision of browsing of cases before the tribunal and the judgments pronounced by different benches.

The address of the site is www.cgat.gov.in, an official release said here yesterday.
