BJP victory due to developmental works: Chouhan

Bhopal, Nov 2 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said the ruling BJP won Vidisha and Malehra seats due to the government's initiative for development as also better work of the party workers.

Reacting to the party's victory in the October 30 byelections, Mr Chouhan said the electorate voted for development.

''Normally, the mandate goes against the ruling party in byelections, but BJP's victory indicated the people's increased faith in the government,'' he added.
