Amarinder to launch Vikas Yatra on Nov 8

Chandigarh, Nov 2 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, along with Punjab Pradesh Congress President Shamsher Singh Dullo and other party colleagues, would start the ''Punjab Vikas Yatra'' from Nangal via Sri Anandpur Sahib to Talwandi Sabo on Guru Gobind Singh Marg from November 8 to November 12, 2006.

A spokesman for the Punjab Government said the Chief Minister would pay obeisance at Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib at Sri Anandpur Sahib on November 8 on his way to Nangal.

Capt Singh would hold rallies to apprise the masses about the achievements and the development activities of the State Government and listen to their grievances and ensure prompt redressal.

He would also attend an all religion prayer meeting at Nangal before the commencement of the Yatra.
