Writer Jaware Gowda begins fast demanding Clasical Status

Mysore, Nov 1 (UNI) Noted Writer and former Mysore University Vice Chancellor D Jaware Gowda today staged a day-long fast demanding Classical Language status to Kannada language.

He said that the agitation would be intensified if the Union Government fails to consider the demand. Several organisations have extended their support to Mr Gowda's agitation.
