Venkata Satyanarayana is BJP candidate

Rajahmundry, Nov 1 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Vice-President Somuveerraju today announced Paka Venkata Satyanarayana as candidate for the forthcoming Member of Legislative Council (MLC) elections from the graduates constituency of East and West Godavari districts.

Addressing presspersons here, Mr Somuveerraju said his party was confident of strengthening its position.

Mr Satyanarayana said education had become a commodity and something should be done to safeguard education from becoming a way to mint money for certain corporate groups.
