Prisoner escapes from custody

Madhepura (Bihar), Nov 1 (UNI) An undertrial escaped from the civil court premises here today.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Shailesh Kumar Sinha said Lelhu Yadav Alias Chhotu Yadav alongwith his associates attacked policemen, while he was being taken to the court and managed to escape from their custody.

A massive manhunt had been launched to arrest him, Mr Sinha added.
