IAF to stage acrobatic display in Arunachal's capital

Itanagar, Nov 1 (UNI) The Indian Air Force (IAF) would stage an acrobatic display -- 'The Surya Kiran Show' -- at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium Naharlagun and Indira Gandhi Park here on November 24 and 25.

The parachuters flying from the neighbouring Air Force Stations of Jorhat and Tezpur in Asom would land at both the venues on the said days, informed state tourism and urban development secretary Y D Thongchi.

The respective areas have been already surveyed by Group Captain D D Kulkarni for the purpose, he disclosed.

The underlying objective of the spectacular show is to attract the local youths into the IAF, the secretary added.
