HSCI Oct sales grow by over 344%

New Delhi, Nov 1 (UNI) Premium car maker Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI) today registered a 343.5 per cent rise in October sales at 5,566 cars with its flagship model Honda City accounting for 3,673 units followed by 1,726 units of Civic, 165 units of Accord and 2 units of CRV.

HSCI's growth in October this year was over 343 per cent because the Honda City was in the run-out phase last year, prior to the launch of the City ZX, the company said in a statement.

The Honda Civic notched up a cumulative tally of 8,011 since its launch in July this year.

The cumulative sales of the company during Jan-Oct 2006 also saw a jump of 38.57 per cent at 47,412 units as against 34,214 units sold in Jan-Oct 2005.
