HMT posts Rs 88.09 Q2 FY 07 net profit

New Delhi, Nov 1: HMT Ltd today staged a turnaround with net profit of Rs 88.09 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006, as compared to net loss of Rs 7.38 crore for the same quarter last year.

The company's total income increased 55.5 per cent to Rs 73.96 crore for the quarter from Rs 47.73 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2005.
