Four-year-old child killed after felling into cooking pan

Basirhat, Nov 1 (UNI) A 4-year-old boy was killed when he fell into a cooking pan at a Chaital under Minakha police station in North 24 Parganas on Monday.

Police said here yesterday the accident occurred in a makeshift kitchen at the house of Ahmed Gazi during his son's wedding.

The victim, a neighourer, who attended the function with his parents, was playing near the kitchen and suddenly fell into the large cooking pan of boiling pulses.

The victim was soon admitted to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

No one was arrested in this connection.
