Bush security adviser in Kabul for talks
WASHINGTON, Nov 1 (Reuters) President George W Bush's national security adviser Stephen Hadley arrived in Kabul today for talks with Afghan President Hamid Karzai and officials of a US-led military coalition, the White House said.
Hadley's trip to Afghanistan followed a visit to Iraq this week amid signs of friction between Washington and Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's government ahead of next Tuesday's US congressional elections.
