BJP candidate ends fast

Chhatarpur, MP, Nov 1 (UNI) BJP candidate for the Malehra bypoll Kapoorchand Ghuwara, who was on a fast in protest against Bharatiya Jan Shakti Founder-President and former chief minister Uma Bharti's ''terror tactics,'' ended his strike this afternoon after discussions with senior officials.

Squarely blaming Ms Bharti for the violence at Serora village, the BJP nominee went on a fast yesterday afternoon at Chhatrasal crossing here and demanded action against Ms Bharti.

Divisional Commissioner R R Gangarekar and Inspector-General (Sagar Range) Swarn Singh conducted discussions with Mr Ghuwara.
