BA launches additional flight from Bangalore

New Delhi, Nov 1: In its response to success of the recently launched Bangalore-London service, British Airways (BA) has announced an additional flight out of the city.

The additional flight takes BA frequencies from Bangalore to London Heathrow to seven per week.

''Within one year, BA has increased its flights to a daily operation from the IT hub of India,'' said its commercial manager for south Asia Amanda Amos.

''The increased frequencies will further enhance convenience, by offering more flights with wider accessibility for the Indian traveller.'' BA has been operating in India for 77 years and now operates 43 flights per week from London Heathrow to five cities in India. It operates a double daily service from London Heathrow to Mumbai and Delhi, a daily service to Bangalore, three times per week to Kolkata and five flights a week to Chennai.
