Ancient idols missing from 1200-yr-old temple

Mahoba, Nov 1 (UNI) Two precious idols were stolen from a 1200-year-old Goi Baba temple in Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh last night, police said today.

According to the police, the robbery took place in Dhikvaha village under Srinagar police station area, where unidentified miscreants decamped with the ancient idols of goddess Laxmi and Lord Vishnu worth lakh of rupees.

Meanwhile, a suspect was being interrogated.
