19 labourers injured in accident

Beed, Maharashtra, Nov 1 (UNI) At least 19 sugarcane cutters were injured when their truck, fell into a nallah near Pali village in this district today.

The accident occurred around noon when the truck, carrying the labourers from Tandulvadi village in Kolhapur district in Western Maharashtra, fell into a nallah after it skidded off the road, police sources said.

All the injured have been admitted to the district civil hospital here.

Of the 19 injured, the condition of the three labourers is stated to be serious, hospital sources told UNI.
