MSP for wheat soon: Dasmunsi

New Delhi, Oct 27 (UNI) The Centre would announce the minimum support price (MSP) for wheat within a couple of days, Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi said today.

''Hopefully this week,'' Mr Dasmunsi told reporters who raised queries about MSP for wheat.

The issue could not be taken up at the Cabinet meeting today as Finance Minister P Chidambaram was away, he said.

Mr Chidambaram would return to the capital tonight and a decision on MSP for wheat would be taken shortly, he said.
