Head of S Korea's intelligence service resigns

Seoul, Oct 27: The head of South Korea's intelligence services has offered his resignation, the latest member of the country's national security team to offer to step down in the wake of North Korea's October 9 nuclear test.

The director of the National Intelligence Service Kim Seung-gyu had offered his resignation to President Roh Moo-hyun, the president's office said today.
