Vasanth and Co selects SAP

Chennai, Oct 26 (UNI) Vasanth and Co, a leading dealer in consumer electronics and home appliances, today announced it had chosen to implement mySAP ERP 2005 across its 41 showrooms to enhance operations and enter the next phase of its growth.

Vasanth and Co had evaluated several vendors and conducted rigorous research before zeroing-in on SAP, a company release said.

Integrated availability of information, optimization of its supply chain, faster turn around of inventory and visibility of profits were the key reasons for Vasanth and Co to choose SAP.

The company was looking to leverage the integrated applications from SAP for finance, human capital, merchandise, supply chain and master data management.

''We chose to work with SAP because we felt it had the best solution for us, a clear road map and a strong track record of delivering on its vision,'' Vasanth Group of Companies Chairman and Managing Director H Vasanth Kumar said.
