High-powered panel to probe RIL fire accident

Ahmedabad, Oct 26: A high-powered technical committee has been appointed to probe the fire that broke out at the hydro-treatment plant of the Reliance Petroleum refinery at Jamnagar yesterday.

According to RIL sources, the committee will thoroughly assess the damage and evaluate the loss incurred. Once the extent of the damages is assessed, the plant could be restarted. The panel may include some outside experts too, the sources said.
