US Pacific Command Chief in AP

Visakhapatnam, Oct 25 (UNI) The US Pacific Command Chief, Admiral William J Fallon and his wife Mary E Fallon arrived at INS Dega here today on a short visit to the Eastern Naval Command (ENC).

An ENC release here said Admiral Fallon was received at the Command Headquarters by Vice Admiral Sureesh Mehta, the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of ENC.

Later, Admiral Fallon held discussions with Vice Admiral Mehta on various issues of mutual interest between the two navies.

The US Pacific Command Chief was also briefed on the role and functions of the ENC before embarking on a harbour cruise with Vice Admiral Mehta and Ms Mehta.
