Two die on Shahdara flyover returning from 'Eid' celebrations

New Delhi, Oct 25 (UNI) Eid celebrations turned tragic last night when two people died on Shahdara flyover here after their motorcycle hit the divider and overturned.

Shahjad and Ahmad, both 22, were declared 'brought dead' at Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital last night.

Their another colleague Raisuddin (20), however, escaped with injuries, sources said.

Residents of Shastri Park, all three were returning home after offering Eid greetings to their relatives in Dilshad Garden under Mansarovar Park area in North-East Delhi.

Medical examination also revealed that they had consumed alcohol, said the police.
