Motorist killed in mishap

Kochi, Oct 25 (UNI) A motorist was killed when a private bus rammed into the vehicle he was riding in Narackkal near here today.

Police said T N Anson (26) died on the spot after the bus hit him when he was travelling from Ernakulam to Kottuvally.

The driver and other workers of the bus ran away from the scene.

Following the incident, tension prevailed in the area as locals damaged the bus and blocked vehicular traffic, police added.

Investigations were on.
