Mumbai, Oct 25: Utility vehicles and tractor major Mahindra&Mahindra today launched their 'Powerol' brand of Diesel Generating (DG) sets at the Powergen exhibition in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Announcing the launch, a M&M press release said the Powerol Engine Application venture is part of M&M's Farm Equipment Sector.

Powerol DG sets have set new trends in the Indian Telecom industry by assuming total ownership for the entire value chain of mobile operators and are in high demand from the governmental and institutional markets, the release added.

Commenting, Mr Gautam Nagwekar, Executive Vice-President, Sales&Marketing, Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra&Mahindra, ''Powerol offers a three-fold value proposition for the consumer - it offers fuel-efficient and cost-effective end-to-end solution, provides total ownership that powers the customer's business efficiently, and thus enables him to focus on his core business.'' The entire gamut of activities includes transportation through its own Transport Solutions Group, Installation&Commissioning of the set, Warranty, Post-warranty, CAMC (Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contracts), among others.
