Eight injured
Jabalpur, Oct 25 (UNI) Eight people, including Deputy Superintendent of Police, were today injured when a police gypsy collided with a car at Manegaon in this district, police said.
The police vehicle was on its way to Bargi area in the district when it collided with a car heading from Balaghat to here. Both the vehicles were badly damaged.
DSP Vaishnav Sharma, his reader S Badgayya, bodyguard Lakshman Singh, driver Satynarain Mishra and constable Somnath Marawi were injured besides three car passengers.
The injured were admitted to a private hospital here. Mr Sharma and Mr Badgayya were in serious condition.
The car driver has been arrested.
