Dialogue on Naga political problems

Kohima, Oct25 (UNI) A day-long Perceptive Dialogue on Naga State of Affairs, under the aegis of Naga Hoho, was held here today to discuss Naga political problems, which was attended by all mass-based organisations, intellectuals, political parties, churches and concerned citizens of the state.

Naga Hoho President Bendangmayang Jamir said the programme was aimed to take suggestions of all the stakeholders on this issue.

Speaking on the matter, all the speakers were of the opinion that killing among the Naga people would never bring any solution to the six-decade old Naga political problem.

Nagas should change their mindset to cope with the fast advancing world and think about the future of the Nagas.

Hatred among the freedom fighters (undergrounds) must end be immediately so that fratricidal killings stop and they should come forward to have a dialogue with the various cross sections of the Naga society. If they claimed themselves as National workers, they should be true and loyal to the people of the nation, the participants said.
