Two dead, four injured in road accident

Barasat, Oct 24: At least two people, including a women, were killed and four others injured in an accident on the National Highway 34 near Moina here in North 24 Parganas last night.

The victims were travelling on a rikshaw van when a small truck collided with it.

Nirapada Sardar died on the spot while a 50-year old woman succumbed to her injuries on the way to the hospital.

People of the area blocked the road after the incident and several vehicles were stranded.
