Tripura Governor condemns killing

Agartala, Oct 24 (UNI) Tripura Governor Dinesh Nandan Sahaya condemned today's killings of two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel by National Liberation Front of Tripura's (NLFT) Biswamohan faction in an ambush at Moniram Para under Ganganagar police station in Tripura's Dholai district.

In a message, the Governor expressed his heartfelt condolence and sympathised with the bereaved families.

Condemning the incident Mr Sahaya warned the militants to desist from such cowardly act.

The Governor also urged the misguided elements to shun violence and not to impede the development of the state.

'' I sincerely urge the militant groups to join the mainstream to help establish total peace and harmony in the state and ensure all round development of the state in its larger interest, '' he said.

CPI(M) state unit also condemned the dastardly killing.
