PPCC strength increased, new members appointed

Chandigarh, Oct 24 (UNI) Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Shamsher Singh Dullo today appointed two more vice presidents of the body, taking the total number of PPCC vice presidents to 27.

The newly appointed vice presidents are Harmel Singh Dhillon and Raghubir Singh, a PPCC release here today said.

Similarly, three new PPCC general secretaries, have been appointed in addition to the already existing 24 general secretaries. They included Gurbachan Singh Babbehali, Gurdass Girdhar and Ripjit Singh Brar.

Mr Dullo also announced the names of two newly appointed executive members- Tara Singh Sandhu and Baljeet Singh. The PPCC already had 90 executive members prior to these two appointments.

All these names of the newly appointed PPCC office bearers had been approved by Congress president Ms Sonia Gandhi, the party release said.
