Police head constable shot dead in north Kashmir

Baramulla, Oct 24 (UNI) A head constable of Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police was shot dead by militants near here this afternoon.

Official sources said militants shot at and critically wounded a head constable of SOG, Mohammad Hanief Khan from point blank range at main chowk near here at 1315 hours.

Khan died before he could be shifted to tge hospital, sources added.
