NSCN(K) cadre arrested at Chumukedima

Kohima, Oct 24 (UNI) A joint patrolling party of Indian Reserve Battalion(IRB) and Dimapur police arrested an NSCN(K) cadre and intercepted a vehicle at Chumukedima, near Dimapur town.

Police seized one 9mm pistol and 144 rounds of 9mm ammunitions from the vehicle.

Police said the accused was driving his vehicle yesterday after hijacking it from the driver near the Patkai Bridge.

Police has registered a case and investigation was on, sources said.
