Nine Naga students leave for Israel
Kohima, Oct 24 (UNI) Nine Naga Students have left for Israel to undergo a one-year Post Graduate Diploma Course under Indo-Israel Work Plan Agreement, 2006 at Garnot International Agri Studies Centre in Israel.
According to official sources here today, out of ten students, one student is awaiting for visa to leave for Israel, while the nine others left on Sunday.
The students, after completion of the course, would be working under various projects earmarked by the State Government of Nagaland under Agriculture and allied departments.
Both Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition had written to the Union Government to clear the visas to enable the students to pursue their studies.
