IPTA to organise Muktibodh drama festival

Raipur, Oct 24 (UNI) The 10th drama festival in memory of noted Hindi writer late Gajanan Madhav Muktibodh will be held here from November 13.

As many as 12 dramas will be staged at the Maharashtra Mandal hall during the week-long festival from November 13, the birthday of late Muktibodh.

Festival Convenor Subhash Mishra told UNI that 'Asmita' and 'Sambhav' drama troupes from Delhi and Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA) troupes from Lucknow, Patna, Raipur, Raigarh and Bhilai, besides the Drama department of Indira Arts and Music University of Khairagarh will be among the main participants.

He claimed the festival was gaining name and fame with the participation of prominent personalities like Habib Tanvir.
