Independent feeders for industrial, commercial consumers

Chandigarh, Oct 24 (UNI) The Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has decided to provide independent feeders to industrial and commercial consumers or groups of consumers having total load of 250 kilowatt (KW) or more.

A DHBVN spokesman said this decision had been taken on persistent demand of industrial and commercial consumers.

He said the cost of erection of independent feeders would be defrayed by the consumer or the group of consumers. However, such feeders being essential system requirement, the departmental charges, levied on the cost of the work, would not be charged from such consumers.

The consumers would not have exclusive right over the feeder and DHBVN might allow additional connections on the feeder if it so decided, the spokesman added.
