Unemployment allowance is political gimmick: UPCC

Sultanpur, Oct 23 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) today slammed the Samajwadi Party-led government in the state for playing ''political gimmicks'' with the people.

Addressing a gathering here, UPCC president Salman Khursheed criticised Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav for ''playing pranks'' with the youth in the form of unemployment allowance and Kanya Vidhya Dhan Yojna.

''The SP government is only interested in vote bank politics and least concerned about the grievances of the people,'' he claimed.
