Three killed in collision between two cars in Punjab

Phagwara, Oct 23 (UNI) Three persons including two youths and a woman were killed on the spot while four others sustained critical injuries in a head-on collision between two cars near Dosanjh Khurd village, on the National Highway today, police here said.

So far only one of the deceased was identified as Jagpal Singh,a resident of Sirhind.

The injured were all refered to a Ludhiana hospital.

According to the police the mishap occured when the driver of one of the cars which was going towards Ludhiana went out of control and jumped into the parallel lane and collided with a car going towards Jalandhar.
