Solution to Naga problem is must for development: NSCN-IM
Kohima, Oct 23 (UNI) The NSCN-IM has warned of a bleak future for the Naga people unless the Naga political issue is amicably solved.
In a release here today, the NSCN-IM 'Ministry of Information and Publicity Kilonser' (Minister) Johny Dilbung said, ''For the Nagas, political solution transcends all other issues and is a solid ground for us to develop and determine ourselves has to be established first''.
The outfit claimed that former state Chief Minister and present Governor of Goa S C Jamir and former Chief Minister of Manipur Rishang Kieshing, among others were 'adamantly focused' on their individual fame and fortune while 'crucifying the Naga people'.
The NSCN-IM also cautioned the Nagas not to yield to negative elements, but come forward with 'constructive and positive contribution'.
