Six farmers commit suicides in Vidarbha

Nagpur, Oct 23 (UNI) As many as six farmers have committed suicides in Vidarbha in the past two days, a voluntary organisation working for farmers' rights said today.

A Vidarbha Jan Andolan Samiti (VJAS) release here said of them, three were from Wardha district, two from Chandrapur and one from Washim district.

With this, the number of farmers who had ended their lives in the region this year gone up to 790, the release added.
