Parliament gherao on Dec 4 demanding separate Mithila state

New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) Mithila Rajya Sangharsh Samiti would gherao Parliament on December 4 demanding a separate Mithila state in north Bihar.

The decision to gherao Parliament was taken at a meeting of six organisations, Samiti president Vinod Raj Jha said here today.

He said Maithili speaking people from Delhi, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal would participate in the dharna. He said a wide awareness campaign would be organised to educate people about the need of a separate state of Mithilanchal.
