Northgate Technologies Ltd net profit jumps 216 per cent

Hyderabad, Oct 23 (UNI) Northgate Technologies Ltd recorded net profit growth of 216 per cent YoY for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006 on its strength of online advertisement and telecom business.

A company release today said here, Northgate earned net profit of Rs 15.43 crore or Rs 11.15 a share during the Q2, up from Rs 4.88 crore or Rs 4.01 a share in the corresponding quarter in the previous year.

The consolidated revenue for the Q2 and half year ended September 30, 2006 stood at Rs 63.68 crore and Rs 110.6 crore respectively.

The consolidated net profit for Q2 and half year ended September 30, 2006 raised to Rs 13.19 crore and Rs 24.57 crore respectively, the release added.
