Hughes inks pact with IIBF for training students

New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) The Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF), the premier banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) body in the country has announced its partnership with Hughes Communication to offer training and contact programmes for JAIIB and CAIIB of the HughesNet fusion platform.

IIBF will conduct 20 hours of live contact classes for students enrolled in the Junior Associateship of the JAIIB Indian Institute of Bankers and CAIIB Certified Associateship of the Indian Institute of Bankers programmes on the HughesNet fusion platform.

IIBF faculty will deliver live training sessions from its central studio in Mumbai and the same will be beamed across all the fusion centres in the country.

The online contact programme will include lectures by the faculty, experts, interactions, presentations and question and answers.

''As one of the premier body in banking and finance education, we have constantly strived to upscale and keep pace with the needs of the market,'' IIBF CEO R Bhaskaran said.

The partnership with Hughes will now enable IIBF to offer a live classroom-to-participant solution for problem solving to professionals across India by leveraging its expertise in interactive onsite learning, he added.

Fuelling the growing demand for banking professionals, this partnership will give IIBF a pan-India infrastructure of 215 locations in 105 cities to reach professionals through the interactive learning platform of HughesNet Fusion.
