Federal Bank Q2 net up 28 pc to 69.46 cr

Mumbai, Oct 23: The private sector Federal Bank has posted a net profit of Rs 69.46 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 54.16 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, an increase of 28.24 per cent.

Announcing the results, the bank said its total income has increased from Rs 393.07 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 to Rs 506.32 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
