Eid-ul-Fitr to be celebrated on Wednesday

Dhaka, Oct 23 (UNI) Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of the Muslims, will be celebrated on Wednesday in Bangladesh as "Shawal" moon was not sighted here today evening.

The National Moon-sighting Committee, after reviewing reports from different agencies and districts, announced that the new moon was "not seen" this evening. The Eid festival will be celebrated on Wednesday after the month-long fasting.
