Eid-ul-Fitr to be celebrated in Kashmir on Wednesday
Srinagar, Oct 23 (UNI) Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in Kashmir on Wednesday as new moon was not sighted here today.
Mufti Azam (head mufti) of Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Bashir-ud-Din, said the 'Shawwal' moon was not sighted in part of the Valley this evening.
The Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramzan, will now be celebrated on Wednesday, he added.
