Delhi BJP MLAs to demand CM's resignation during Assembly session
New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) Delhi BJP today announced that it will demand the resignation of Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on October 30 the first day of Delhi Legislative Assembly's winter session.
Party MLAs and workers would seek her resignation while demonstrating against the state government within the House and outside it for allegedly failing to fulfil the aspirations of the people, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Harshvardhan said in a statement.
After a long interval the Chief Minister had called Assembly session but only under compulsion of Constitutional requirements, he said.
They (Congress) would try to finish the session in a hurry without listening to the pains and sorrows suffered by the people in the Assembly, which the highest forum of the people of Delhi. The BJP would not allow this to happen, he added.
Delhi government, which had failed on all fronts would face a strong protest by the BJP inside the House and also outside it, Dr Harshvardhan said.
